Hi! I'm so glad that I found this forum! I have been looking for a forum like this one for a long time. I'm now on phase II and actually have not lost that much on this stage. I'm not sure if is because I have added the fruits back.

quick questions:

-How often can I have the brown rice?
- I'm buying the low carb yogurts and not sure if they are Ok for stage II?
I have added 1% milk back is one cup a day too much??

Hi...

The SBD is not as exact in its descriptions in the book as say, Atkins. I would look through the 2 week sample phase 2 menus in the book and figure out from that how many times per week it's acceptable to have brown rice. You could substitute the wholemeal pasta for brown rice too.

I would stick to lowfat yogurts for the SBD. Low carb often means high fat (a la Atkins where there is no fat restriction). Although the SBD is low(ish) carb, the fundemental difference between it and other low carb diets is the fat. He always recommends low fat/skim dairy products.

Welcome to the forum
I am not much of a yogurt eater and not much of a milk drinker either. Brown rice I would say you need to try to figure that out on your own. Cut down on it and see if maybe that was the cause?
Lower it to 1 portion a week and see how it goes.
Good luck
