Question Oregon State Fair...Low Carbing...

Hello...

I have to work a few days at the State Fair (starting next week) and I didn't think I would still be on Atkins Induction, but here I am...and faced with the dilemma of having to figure out what kind of meals to pack...practical ones...and what to buy while I'm there. I have a few snacks, and I'll be taking an Atkins Advantage Bar (as a last resort), and there will be plenty of bottled water there. But...how about meals? Salads aren't practical to take (the bowls, the separate dressing, storage problems, little table space...), and sandwiches are certainly not an option. Fair food is often quite expensive, and I'll certainly be limited by prices as well.

Any suggestions? I'm stumped...really...

Thanks!!

Okay...Tomorrow's opening day at the State Fair, and I open the booth...first shift.

Memories and smells of previous years at the fair are kicking in...but I'm not quite as frustrated as I was earlier. I'm taking lots of finger food...boiled eggs, ham and turkey chunks, cheese slices, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and my supplements. I'll be getting a lot of bottled water....and I'll be exploring the possibilities for the other days I'll be at the fair...checking out food booths, areas giving out samples, and if nothing seems to work out tomorrow, I'll eat my Atkins bar...and leave a bit early.

How's that?
