Default Sorbee Makes Cookies Too!

While out and about I popped into wal-mart and while there happened to notice where they sell the sorbee chocolate in the diabetic section, they also sell cookies! Only 5 carbs each and a good size too

Sure hope I don't get the same reaction as I do with the chocolates...but had to buy a bag...4.98 a bag...bit expensive but for a treat, what they hey

Good to have a treat now and then. Not sure if our Walmart will have them.
I tend to stay away form such high carbs thinking of all the cauliflower or cabbage I could eat for 5 carbs! Good to know these things though.
Thanks Wendy

Voortman's also makes sugar free cookies, I've seen them in many grocery stores. They all still have flour though!

I thought the Sorbee's had more carbs than that, but maybe they were listing a serving as 2 cookies. I think they're still made with sorbitol so it's quite likely you'll have the same reaction, let us know, and if they're any good!

I think the Sorbee's chocolate is disgusting so I wasn't willing to spend $5 on a few cookies. The Voortman's ones are 2 packages for $5.

5 carbs only for one cookie...but had the same reaction

I have to wonder though, I ate the cookie on a empty stomach, now I am wondering if I have done that with the chocolates too?

The chatmans no sugar ice cream has the same ingredients yet I did not have the visits to the washroom?

Lesson to be learnt, don't eat these things on an empty stomach?

Ps. NNN...Wendy isn't a lover on cauliflower and cabbage....lol...guess thats why I am into searching for these things?

Default S.F. icecream vs. S.F. cookies

the really big diff between the cookies and the icecream, Wendy, would be the flour in the cookies (adding to the carb digestive and blood sugar impact bigtime) and the fat and protein in the icecream (which softens or ameliorates the digestive and blood sugar impact)

lots of research in the Diabetes field demonstrates this, as does Glycemic Index research...
