Default Mama Lupe's LC tortillas ... yum

I was at Wal-Mart the other day and noticed that they had a brand of LC tortillas I hadn't tried, Mama Lupe's. These are much better than any LC tortillas I have had before, and they are 3 grams of carbs each. Even my husband, who grumbles about anything LC, admitted that they were "okay."

AND they were only about $2.40. Not bad for a LC product.

I agree, they are very good...well worth the money. I found them at Super Wal-mart, Dillon's Grocery Store (a Kroger Company) and even at our little town Foodliner.

It never hurts to ask stores for products you wish for. Not to brag but as a word of encouragement I simply emailed Walmart through thier website and asked them to begin stocking locarb tortillas. They called me at home a few days later to let me know that they read my suggestion and would have them in stores within a few days.

Now, wheres my commission?

I also requested the new Heinz lo carb ketchup a few days ago but never heard back. We'll see.

They were not by the low-carb stuff. They were with the regular flour tortillas in the Mexican food section. Of course, YMMV.

I'm not sure. Mine is a superstore. But the Price Chopper closest to me carries them as well. (I found out because I asked them to carry them, and they told me they already did!)

Well... Just got my order and have to say that I absolutely love these... what a great alternative (I could only handle the La Tortilla ones so often)... I am soooo happy that I heard about these on this board!

How do these compare to the Adios Carbs ones? Those are great! I've been buyin' 'em at www.synergydiet.com but would love to find a great-tasting alternative close to home!

P.S... just got back from Walmart and they did not have them at mine (it is not a superstore)... Giant Eagle and Top's do not carry them either so that leaves me no other options other than the internet
