Unhappy nuts are bad

I was wondering if anyone has the same reaction to nuts as I do... when I started doing the PP, I read that nuts were great as a snack and such, but when I eat nuts, i get really bad stomach cramps. At first I thought it was the type of nuts I was eating, but it seems to do this with all nuts... Am i weird? ^_^

I like nuts, but i don't like paying for it later on..

Default it hasn't happened to me...

...but it's true that there are MANY people who are sensitive to nuts. Unfortunately, I can't help you with anything other than...just stay away from nuts.

Good thing is...this site has a bunch of great snack ideas in the "Kitchen -> Quick Meals and Snacks" section.

Do you get the same effect from raw and roasted nuts?

Raw almonds can tear me up sometimes (and I love the taste of them), but roasted ones do not. The heat during roasting deactivates many enzymes that may be causing you problems if you are only affected by the raw nuts. If this is the case, you can either buy roasted rather than raw nuts or roast your own at home in the oven on a cookie sheet.
