Default New and Need a few good buddies!!!!

Hello

I started the lo-carb diet about 5 days ago, had a good day or two, but nothing steady. At lunch time I can't seem to get it together, I don't know what the problem is, I always cheat, it is also the week before my period, maybe that is a factor. I need a buddy or two or three, or maybe even a legion of buddies would do. I have read the adkins diet and a few others, I know the basics, but the more I read these boards, all the #'s and ratio's are really starting to confuse me. Please HELP!!

Try starting a journal, that way your legion of new buddies can come visit you - plus people oftentimes find that it feels good to get what you are thinking out on "paper".

Hi Jere D,
I follow Atkins. I know what you mean about the lunch thing. I usually just have a buger or eggs real boring. During the induction phase which I am currently once again I find that by the second week I might add cheese to the burger or onions. just to make it more exciting. I happen to be a pickey eater. At least I think I am. I want to lose the rest of my weight. I did real well the first go on atkins. I was on atkins
started aug 01-till decemeber 9th 2001. lost about 50 pounds. Ihad to have emergency surgery....female thing
and have maintaned since then. I found it totally impossible to stay on atkins while I was recovering. My husband only new how to toast a bagel lol. Anyway I felt that I was ready to go back ( yeah real smart right during the holidays) so here I am I would be thrilled with 35 pounds insane over any more then that. I look at the scale each day just hoping for half a pound.
I also find that walking helps too.
what do you do all day long? I am a stay at home mom.
