Thumbs up atay away from white flour..this is the key

hi, week 2 is over now and i am down 10 pounds..i am so motivated, i have been doing a lot of research...i watched oprah today about obesity...there was 1 girl there that lost 300 pounds in one year..she said she was a sugar adddict...she said she stays away from white flour completely...it is amazing how u can loose that much weight in 1 year...i believe if we r true to ourselves we will overcome our addiction to food...they said on the show you must learn to love yourself...anyway it was very motivating...go to oprah.com and u can see the video..
good luck to all...lets see where we all will be in 1 year!!!!

I think it's a little more complicated than just staying away from white flour

Sugar, Rice, Pasta, Potatoes all cause insulin spikes in most of us. I think the real key is eating low GI (Glycemic Index) foods, to keep our insulin low so we burn fat instead of storing it.

I personally am not a big "talk show" fan. To me they are just another version of media hype and will jump on whatever bandwagon is popular that day or week, just to get the ratings.

Agonycat,

Roger on the TV talk shows. Hope the day never comes when that is entertainment. I'd rather polish the door knobs:-).

Marianna,

Sorry if I offended you. JMO Watching talk shows is just not something I'd do.
