Question Substitutions

Hi, I'm new here and 1 month into the Atkins Diet. I've read recipes extensively and have been trying to incorporate new ones into my cooking repertoire without spending a fortune for strange ingredients . Is 'whey protein isolate' the same as Atkins Bake Mix or Carbsense Bake Mix?

Hi Sharon,

No, they are not the same. Whey protein isolate is a concentrated protein derived from milk that is used in sports nutrition and low-carb cooking. You can use whey protein concentrate instead. It's cheaper but has a few more carbs.
