Default Effective Carb Count ECC

I have added a new option to our carb-counter for effective carb-count ECC (carbs minus fiber). This will allow you to sort the food lists based on ECC, in addition to carbs, fiber and protein.

Oh, that's great, Wa'il! I subtract fibre, and after running a few of the things I eat through the carb counter, I was getting quite depressed....

Better now!

Thumbs up I'm NEW!

Hello Everyone! I'm new here, so maybe that's why I can't get the ECC to work! Can someone help me out?

Hi Curvy, I'll be glad to help you out

What didn't work? In the field where it says "Sort by the value of" if you click on it, it will present you with 4 choices, one of them is "Effective Carb-Count (ECC)" If you choose this option, it will sort the list by the valuse of ECC.

Don't worry, if the ECC says zero, or is identical to carbs, this can happen with some foods that have zero carb, or zero fiber.

Not sure if this was your question, if not, please let me know which part is causing the problem.

Thanks for answering my post!

I don't see anything on my screen that allows me to enter any value.....it just shows a couple of diagrams of nutritional information......Am I missing something?

Just click on the diagram, or the title "Carb-Count Finder".

I probably should make this easier by adding a click here button.

Thanks for your help---and, I'm just curious, what is the significance of "Wa'il"?

No real significance, it's just my name.
