I am doing a TKD at this time. I have my carb up snack in the am - a packet of instant oatmeal, 2 rice cakes or a piece of fruit. I then work out. Breakfast - coffee with cream, a custard or shake (about 2 eggs, maybe 1/2 c cream)
lunch - salad, leftover steak or chicken or some tuna salad
I try to stick to the CKD parameters of 1872 cals, 137 fat, 20 carb, 140 protein (this does NOT include the pre wo snack).
I would only do the grapes as a last resort, Nat. I'm thinking that would only leave me carb hunting! Again, it's not that I'm even hungry - just wanting a snack for some reason. I'm sure the fact that there is NOTHING at my office I can munch on (vending machines - ha!) only makes it worse. I usually try to keep things on hand but I was slacking today.
