Default Vitamin question

Hi...me again

Have another question for you low carb experts.
How important is it to take the Atkins vitamins?
I bought the 14 day pack...and just couldn't believe how many you are supposed to take a day...3 times a day.

I realize vitamins are important, but taking over 15 pills in one day, just seems excessive to me.
Is there another brand or formula I could use?

I don't use any of the Atkins supplements except the essential oils. They are ridiculously expensive. A good multi-vitamin is just as good. Try to get a vitamin that does not have added iron though, we get plenty of that. I also watch the sales to find good prices on supplements and then stock up. Orchid

I get a real good multi from Walmart (store brand). I happens that I buy the "mature" style, another word for old lol, and it does not have Any iron in it.

You do need to take something. I'm taking over 60 pills a day, which horrifies me on one hand, but I've decided each and every one of them is needed for me today. I may change my mind a year from now. I am under a doctor's supervision and she's recommended most of these.

I feel better than I did before I started this regimen.

Unfortunately, there's no double-blind on a one-rat study, and the real outcome is still 20 years away.
