Cool Weight gain after I quit smoking

Good Morning. I need some HELP!!!!! I lived low carb for about 6 years now and last July I quit smoking because my husband has lung cancer. I did fine the without smoking, however, winter came and I began to gain weight and now am 14 lbs. heavier and very unhappy about it. I need some suggestions. I work a full time job as an office administrator and do get up and around most of the day...not just sitting at my desk. I am now able to walk again due to the change of seasons. I try to walk in the morning & evening. Seems since I stopped smoking my metabalizm has changed. HELP HELP HELP!!!! Running out of clothes that fit me. Thanks so much!!!

There are plenty of tips on how to lose or maintain from not smoking.

It takes a while for your metabolism to readjust.

WELCOME ABOARD

You are in the best place for support and motivation!!
Take it nice and slow. I quit over a 1 1/2 years ago and
I agree it is not easy or fun!! But you can do it!!
If you haven't yet, start a journal. You can vent,
log food and just generally be yourself. Don't hesitate
to ask for help!! You can do it!!!!
