Unhappy Kavli crip bread info pls...

Hi there... can anyone help??? I have been using the Kavli cripbreads on occasion. Carb count is fairly low 11gms per 3 slices (origional flavor). These flat breads come in many yummy flavors all quite low in carbs. These cripsbreads are A-OKAY per DANDR... thats how I found them in the first place. My dilema is that I have hunted high and low for a dietary fiber content and have come up empty. I can't even find a web site for the company and Dr Atkins site is no help either. Suggestions?? Much appreciated! Jo.

Default kavli fiber content

I buy these too - they're great when you need something to put tuna salad or cream cheese on. The fiber is listed on the box - maybe your labels are different in canada?
Anyway, 3 pieces contains 13g of carbs and 2g are fiber. So that leaves 11g digestible carb - or 3.67g per crispbread.

Lowcarbjo,

I haven't tried the Kavli, but I do buy Finn Crisp at Save-on-Foods. They are so good. I think they're pretty similar to the Kavli, and great to have for tuna, egg salad, etc.

The breakdown is:

(per 3 crisps)
calories - 240
protein - 2.1 g
carbs - 11.4 g
fiber - 3 g

So that works out to around 8.5 g carbs for 3 crisps. I usually only eat 2 at a time, though, so it's a little less. These are great for a snack with some cream cheese and salsa spread over top . Good for a treat once in a while.

TTFN,
