Howdy Neighbor!! Welcome to the board!

It really is best for your long-term well-being to find a plan you can stick with for life.... this board is a great place to find such information and ideas! Have fun with it!

....like my husband was saying the other day.... "We've been on this plan for 7 months now!".... and I responded, "Yep, only 40 more years to go!!"

Let us know if we can help!!

That's so true! You have to make a committment for life. That's why it's so important to find the LC plan that works for you and with your body's chemistry. If you think of this as a diet, it has an ending and you just go back to your old way of eating! If you think of LC as a WOL then good health and habits and control are yours forever!

Smile Howdy!

Its great to meet you! I'm from New Hampshire (In New England) and sure envy your warm weather
I know what you mean about putting weight back on. I lost down to 280 on Atkins before then gave up and after 6 months was up to 315! I realize now that it low carb for life and that carbs and me just don't get along
This forum is terrific and there are lots from Texas as you will soon see. Take Care!

Smile Welcome, Nancy!

Welcome to the forum!

This community is warm and supportive—just what one needs for a successful LC journey!

I hope you’ll navigate all over the site and that you’ll drop in the Triple Digits Club (for those with 100+ lbs to lose). We communicate openly and honestly there, and everyone will find inspiration in the threads.

Good luck to you!

Donald
