Substitute for protein drinks
I need some advice. I am in induction of SBD which means carbs are mainly veggies and low-fat yogurt or cottage cheese. So I am wondering what to have on weights days when I need a quick intake of protein. I was losing weight the first week on SBD, then started BFL, and I found as soon as I started drinking the shakes I stalled.
I think this may be because I am putting on muscle but could this have worked so quickly? Also, is there anything other than protein shakes I can take to the gym? I have tried taking some yogurt in a container and stirring in two scoops of powder and this was fine but if this is making me stall, I would like to find a substitute.
I had a few carbs last Saturday so I am carrying on with Phase I for two more weeks and then I move to Phase II which allows fruit and slow introduction of carbs.
