Default having a bath

I've never been able to fit in our bath so I have had to make do with showers all this time. Showers are great things, but nothing beats a soak in the bath with a cup of nettle tea and a good book.

I have just had my first bath in about 5 years. It feels great.

And I got weighed the other day and found I am 259lb. This must mean the my estimated start weight of 280lb was way off due to the inches I have lost.

I'm sitting here typing wearing a tshirt I was given 2 years ago that was always a little too tight to be seen in. Now its fantastically loose.

All this comes after few weeks of feeling like I had stopped losing weight. For the last two days I have been blessed by the whoosh fairy.

I've not felt this good for a long time and I'd like to share it with you all. May the whoosh fairy visit you

Reading in the tub is good, but remember, you can't bring the internet in there with you. And just think, one day you will get to sink down and only the tops of your knees will show!

LOL, all those things you took for granted when you were thin!!! I bought a pair of L silk pjs a few months ago and of course they were too tight across my thighs. I tried them on last night and they're wonderfully loose and hubby said I looked beautiful !!!

Baths are definitely nice. Lots of bubbles, my portable cd player and a good book and I'm in heaven. Too bad I'm the mother of 2 small children and mom's bath time only lasts about 10 minutes at most. At least the water doesnt' get cold, right??? LOL

I know what you mean!!! We have a home with a big jacuzzi bath tub and it is great, but we are selling our house and moving into an apartment until we buy another home and we can't find an apartment with a big tub. So I guess that will be an incentive to stay on program with my weight loss.

I have little interest in baths, but for for some reason I want to give top honors to a thread entitled "Having a bath". It lured me in, anyhow. I love the simplicity of that title.

Perfect. No whining. No bragging. Just "having a bath".

I remember back the time I lost 69 pounds and got pretty skinny how wonderful it was to fit into the bathtub and not have my hips hit both sides of the tub. And also, how easy it was to fit under desks to plug in wires, and stuff. I just took great joy in being small!

Congratulations to you!
