Default Department Lunch

Hi everyone,
in 2 hours my manager is taking the dept. out to lunch b/c someone is leaving , and i'm scared of not being able to stick to a LC lunch... Since I don't know where we'll be going, it might very well be a pizzeria... If we are going to have pizza, what shall i do? I will feel funny if i pick off the toppings only LOL. Perhaps I can order salad while they're all eating pizzas.
Hopefully though we'll be going to a regular restaurant with a menu so i can choose! Any help for worst case scenario will be appreciated, thanks

How about eating a LC meal BEFORE you go? You wont be hungry and wont be tempted. It does work, I managed to pass up chips, cheesies and black forest cake this weekend at my nephew's birthday party.

Good luck!

Nat

Oh, I'm not worried about temptation..i have no desire for high-carbs at this moment but i guess it's a matter of where we'll end up going.. i think it'll be OK, even if we go to a pizza place (worst place to go), i can still get a salad of some kind. Thanks!

Arrow Had to share

We eat out a lot in our office. I just had to tell people what I was doing b/c sushi was our typical eatery. For me to pass up sushi - everyone knew something was up. They are all supportive. Most hadn't even heard of Atkins!
Good luck - pizza sounds REALLY good! : )

I agree most places where you can go and sit down and eat pizza offer some other choices.....even salad....hopefully this type of place will be selected.

When I'm out for lunch with my crew, often the men just have a salad for lunch.

Cool phew

Well it was a close call we were going to a pizzeria, but we went to a mexican restaurant instead, and i ordered the grilled chicken ceasar salad.. it had 'tortilla' chips for croutons, and only had a few of those.. it was pretty delicious. The funny thing is that, before my LC lifestyle, that was exactly what i would order anyway b/c it was light and the 'healthiest' dish.
