Talking Big Step!

Hello Everyone,

This is a huge step for me! Not the diet - but to actually write instead of just reading. I have never before sent a message to any bulletin board. So, I am totally unfamiliar with alot of the terms and procedures but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I have enjoyed this forum for a few months. Always appreciating the attitude of the participants. Everyone is always so encouraging!! I decided it was time to get involved as more than a reader.

I have been eating this way for five years - on and off. I originally lost 30 lbs. and managed to get it all back by August of this year. I could not believe I had let it happen!! So, I am absolutely convinced of my need to make this a WOL. I feel better, look better and will never again go back to being a slave to sugar again!

Thank you all for the support you give one another and I look forward to meeting you

Glory

How wonderful you've decided to join us. It's so much more fun participating.

It sounds like you know exactly what you have to do to get back and stay on track. You're the perfect testimonial that this has to be away of life and not a "diet" for a few months. We all know though no matter how we diet so to speak as soon as we return to our old/bad habits, we'll gain the weight back. With lowcarbing we have such variety, it's so much easier to keep with this WOL.

How about starting a journal in Bootcamp? That's a great way to stay on track and stay honest to yourself.

Most find the forum the easy part. I'm sure you know your way around already.

Post often and let us really get to know you.
