Default Fresca?

Hi all,

New to this board (as well as the way of eating/way of life). Day 3 has me wondering...

Can I have a Fresca during induction? I mean, no sugar, no caffeine, and zero carbs listed. It DOES have concentrated grapefruit juice listed.

OK? Yes or no?

Thanks.

While you are on induction it is not allowed... Sorry.. i have found that diet rite is made with splenda.. i usualy have one here and there.. it probaly would be a better choice than the fresca... after you get off induction... Induction will help you get rid of the cravings you have for soda for sure...

I don't know about the not being allowed, but I know it isn't recommened.

I on the other hand, say if you aren't having any slow down, cravings and are still in Ketosis, there probably isn't any harm in it. I am a sodaholic and I drink diet coke (not CF) and have had no problems what so ever. I say experiment a bit (when you feel comfortable to do so) and see how your body reacts.
