Hopeing some one can help. We watched the Low Carb episode of Venture last week. On the show there was a flour company in Canada who had created a low carb flour. I think they were from Winnipeg. But that is all I can remember. We wanted to contact them to see if it is available yet. Does anyone remember the companies name, and location.

We emailed CBC about 4 days ago, but they have not responded.

Hi: I saw the Venture program as well. I checked the website and notice they don't give the exact carb count nor the GI. I don't understand what they mean by "contains 25% net carbs".... does that mean 25% of regular white flour? Before contacting them to ask these specific questions, would anyone happen to know already?

hmmmm puzzling!! Not sure what that means. I looked at their website as well. Says "67% lower net carbohydrates than normal white flour."

ok...I looked up white flour on the Atkins carb counter.

Net carbs for 2tbs of white flour is 11.5g
so I suppose that makes this flour approx 3.8g for 2tbs

would that be right?
