Default Subway Wraps.

I know this has been covered before, but this is the first time I have tried one. Hardly ever go to fast food places, so I can't blame them for me getting out of hand. Dam, and I could have used the law suit money too. Guess I have to blame myself.

OK, I am getting off the subject here. SO..... had my first Chicken Bacon Ranch the other day. It was ok, but didn't fill me, I found the whole thing anticlimatic. Was impressed with the size of the wrap itself. Not long after I ate it, my glands started swelling up. Before low carbing this was a normal state for me. I thought it was normal allergies, but found out very quickly it was food allergies. Guessing gluten, but have not messed around with different food yet to pin point anything.

But know I am left questioning excatly what is the wrap itself made of? Thinking it is more than I thought it was. Well atleast this will keep me away from them.

I would call the subway you got it from and say that you had a mild allergic reaction to something that was in the sub and you are trying to figure out what it is so you can avoid whatever it was in the future. I would think if you explain it like that then they would be more than willing to share the ingredients.

I had the same subway wrap last week and LOVED it! I thought it tasted great and was plenty filling... My mom also had the same one and liked it as much. I don't know how filling she thought it was though.

Yeah, I would call and say exactly what the other person told you and I'm sure they'd share the ingredients.

Good luck.

I found an allergy list, it didn't list the ingredients but on the allergy list it said the wrap itself contains wheat/gluten, soy and sesame as possible allergens. Also on the topping they listed egg, milk and nitrates in addition to the above.

I love the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Each Subway, or atleast each worker, makes them differently. One guy cut it down the middle and re-heated it after all the fixins were on it. It was wonderful...JMO.

Thumbs up

I'm not a big fan of the Subway wraps. Not very filling for me. My favorite wraps are at Ruby Tuesdays. They're wonderful and very, very filling. Depending on which one you order, the carb count ranges from 7-12 and you get a side spring mix salad (1 carb) or pork crisps (0). You'll leave full and satisfied !

DH and I love the chicken bacon wraps. I think a lot of it has to do with who makes it. We only have them every so often when nobody(mostly me) feels like cooking. I think it is great to have that alternative.

Subway wraps are the greatest! I'm sure they could be tastier, but I just LOVE the freedom to go in and order something I don't have to eat w/ a fork!!!

I posted on this earlier and said I thought the wraps were awesome and filling. I remembered later that I was worried it wouldn't be enough so when I went through McDonald's afterward to get the kids happy meals I also ordered myself a hamburger (for the meat) jsut in case it wasn't enough. After finishing the hamburger I was stuffed and couldn't eat the burger. I really thought they were very filling.
