Default Spices - Which ones are the best/ most popular?

I've never been much of a cook. The thing about recipies is that they always call for 2-15 different spices and I would hate to buy a spice that I'm only going to use once in a while for one particular dish.
What spices are the most popular on the CAD?
Thanks, Annie

hi and welcome, Annie

I expect its a bit of a broad as with the RM you can have whatever you choose. But here are the things I personally use most. I know what you mean, as I have a big box of spices I have to sort through.. they dont keep too well....

paprika.. to use in chicken paprika particularly but also put it in beef stew
basil and oregano goes in practically everythin.... and can use dried basil in salad dressings, just let it soak in the oil a bit
chilli for chilli con carne, and
cumin ... ground cumin, I put in chilli, and several other spicy/indian influenced dishes.
rosemary Iuse this with plain baked chicken, kleftico and any lamb
HTH... they arent specific to CAD, all those dishes can be any low carb, cant they ?

I use Cavenders Greek Spice on EVERYTHING! Its especially good on turkey burgers and veggies. It's a combination of spices that are spicey but not TOO spicey.

I'm not much of a cook either and this really spices things up.

But, it's hard to find. I order it off various websites like:

All of the above and garlic powder. Not the salt.

Thanks. I've got most of those already, so I guess I have a pretty good supply.

Ditto on 21 Season Salute. It tastes great on everything and my family loves it.
