Default Oily skin??

I am noticed the last few days that my skin is getting oily and that is unusual for me since I have dry skin(pushing 40 ya know!!)
Anyone else experienced that??? Is it from the extra oils in the foods??

Also I am just wondering-dumb question but on peoples posts what does LOL mean????

OMG I had a bad break out for the first week of induction. My face felt so gross and greasy. I just washed a little more than usual and washed with an oatmeal soap and after a week or so my face cleared up. I think it is due to the fatty foods...not really sure but your face will clear up soon. HTH

Laughing out loud (lol). I noticed a change in my skin also...I like to think I am just flushing out the bad stuff...I noticed it when I started drinking all the water...but it could be oils. I'm not sure.

Your skin is your largest organ, and when you start this WOE you detoxify. So to start off with, you may notice that your skin worsens.

HOWEVER! It will get better. I've had the oiliest skin imaginable since puberty, and I'm now over 40. My skin is AMAZING! No more oily skin. I can put makeup on in the morning and it's still there in the evening! My pores have tightened up as well.

Persevere, you will see results.

Thanks everybody for the encouragement

I guess I could think of it as a good thing to have my skin oily because I am ridding my body of the gross yukkies that it once had ..

It is definetly not going to stop me from doing ths WOE!!!

I've read eating too much sugar and carbs causes your body to produce more testosterone which can lead to break outs. Therefore, by sticking to this WOL, your skin should be pretty clear. I went through PMS and TOM and I'm going through a super stressful few months right now and my skin was clear as I've seen in in a while! And has a rosy glow to it! And I had even run out of my prescription skin ointment. I just think I would agree with the others that your body is detoxing right now and you should have nice healthy clear skin to look forward too!
