Default Eating during induction

Hi all,

Just found this forum today. Went on Atkins last Thursday, started off great, lost 10 lbs, tthen gained back a few in the past several days. I have so many questions. For one, my all time favorite food is half sour pickles, which the label says has less than 1 carb and less than 1 carb of sugar. So I was psyched, thinking I can eat a few a day when I'm craving salt. Then I have read and found on fit day that pickles have 3 carbs per serving. Which is it? And can you eat cheese? What about Atkins advantage bars or shakes. Will they slow my weight loss? So many questions... sorry!

It depends on the pickle. I would go by what the jar says, who knows what brand fitday is talking about. The bars and shakes stall some people, but have little or no effect on others. The only way to tell is trial and error. Same goes with the cheese. These items stall some, don't bother others. Dairy foods for me is an enemy I stay away from cheese. Hope that helps some.

Thanks, hopefully I can keep my pickles!!! I might try eliminating dairy for a couple of days, see if I start losing again. I have become obsessed with this diet. Last night I had a nightmare that I ate some carbs!!
