Cool Fruit??? and excercise

I feel yucky without any fruit. Has anyone had any success with the Atkins, keeping a teenie bit of fruit in their diet?

I had 4 strawberries with lunch today, and I would like to have half a grapefruit, or one kiwi, or some other LC fruit, ever day if possible.

Any advice? On both what to eat? Can I sub in a small piece of fruit for some of my veggies?

Also, has anyone noticed any effects of changing the time of day that you excercise? I think I do best when I excercise after dinner, but maybe I am making it up in my head. The first couple pounds were eay but I am a little bit stuck.

Default Fruits and Workouts

Hi Hockeygirl -

I eat strawberries all the time, I've had an orange and blueberries are OK as well. If you are on the OWL in Adkins you can have whatever fruits fit within your daily carb allowance.

As far as working out goes I always workout before I eat dinner or breakfast. That way I ensure that I am still burning fat while I eat and the food is usually less than normal since I consume a lot of water while working out.

Many people say the morning workout on an empty stomach is best. I do both morning and night so ultimately I think its what works best for you.

Thanks Shannon

I will keep that in mind. I am going back to induction for a little while, since after I went off induction I gained back a few pounds.
Makes sense about the before dinner/breakfast thing.
