When eating on Atkins, are you supposed to measure out everything?

Hi Kathy,

Dr Atkins says that the only thing you really need to measure are your carbs. So yes, it helps to measure your vegies, at least until you have been doing this for a while and can "eyeball" a cupful of whatever.

I personally tend to weigh a lot of my food, so I can accurately use Fitday. Do you know about www.fitday.com ? In case you don’t, it's a free site where you can keep track of your carbs, calories, fat etc.
This thread Fitday.com How To's gives some hints on making it a bit easier to use.

Having said that, there's no real need to measure anything other than carbs if you don't wish to. Just remember Dr A's injunction to "eat until full, but not stuffed."

All the best!

Rosebud
