Talking newbie from Australia

Hey there all from Australia! First of all, any other aussies out there? 'cause I need some serious help...yikes,tried Dr A's for about 10 months,,didn't get anywhere,,,,,,found out had a few medical problems to sort out first, did that, and now I'm back.what's the best way to do induction again? straight protein or mix a few carbs in in the shape of salads?? I need to lose something like 14 kilos by end of Jan when I am starting a new job,,, so need all the support that I can get,,,,I think that in actual fact I eat too much --yes I know you can eat what you want, but my hunger just seems to be huge compared to the rest of the world!

anyhow, this is just a Hi! It's me letter, looking forward to getting to know ya all,,,,,,,,BTW,,can you get daily emails from this list with everyones emails?

Selina in sunny Australia

Default welcome

Hi, if you check down the forum you'll find Local Support Groups and included in this is a section for Australian folks.

http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdis...p?s=&forumid=43

We don't post e-mail addresses for our own protection. Saves worrying about getting spam mail from Robots picking up our email addresses off this site. My advice would be to stick around, read lots, try and get to know some folks, especially any from your own area and when you're comfortable share email addresses in private messages.

Since you're familiar with Dr. A's I suggest you jump in and start a journal in Bootcamp. That way other members can see your menus and will be able to help you if you go astray or if you stall. Sometimes the sharp eyes and knowledge of others is the key to just moving forward a tiny step, just enough to encourage us.

Good luck, post often, looking forward to seeing you around.
