black soybeans in soup
One of my family's favorites is Pozole, a mexican soup of pork, hominy, and pinto beans. Too carby for us, obviously. So tonite I made a pot for them, and tried a low carb version for self. Some pork, broth, green chilies, chile powder, a bit of onion, and a can of Eden black soybeans. it was not too bad - the only problem was the beans are prepared without salt, so by the time I got it so the beans tasted ok, the soup overall was a bit salty. But not too bad. There are times when hot, salty, is what you want. i will work on this, and if it turns out to be a recipe, will post it. Bill
