Question RE: "Natural Ovens Health Max Bread"

Before I converted to an Atkins WOL/WOE, I was eating Natural Oven's Health Max bread. Now that I'm on OWL, I've started to add a slice (toasted) maybe 1x every week or every other week.

I'm asking a favor of those experienced with detecting "marketing BS" because currently, I'm sold on this bread company.

Here's the web site for the bread specifically:

http://www.naturalovens.com/cgi-bin...sp?ProductID=32

And here's the link for the FAQ's about the Natural Ovens breads:

http://www.naturalovens.com/aboutus/faq.htm

Oh, I forgot to add that the Health Max bread isn't their lowest carb bread. They have a couple breads with 13 total carbs and 5 fiber grams (hunger filler, right wheat) and the rest have either 14 or 15 with 5 grams of fiber.

Should I believe that they've already subtracted the fiber from the total carbs? When I plugged in a 100% wheat bread slice into Fitday.com, it came back with 16 in a large slice. That was before subtracting the fiber.

Am I completely off-base by consuming this bread? If so, I'm going back to trying to make my own for a special piece of toast.

Unhappy hidden carb results...

I plugged all their Health Conscious breads into the hidden carb calculator and my Health max bread came back with 14+ carbs. The best bread (lowest in carbs) was their Hunger Filler. I'll switch to that kind for now.
