Default Sushi?

Quick question....One of my favorite foods is Sushi with Wasabi....Anyone know if this is ok on Atkins??? I know sushi is usually wrapped in rice and seaweed, but I bet you can get it without...any experiences?

Rice is a no-no but there is nothing stopping you from ordering sashimi or that soup (with the tofu in it). There are lots of things you can order that have not been battered or do not have rice in them and they are great. It is a good opportunity to try some new things the next time you are eating Japanese. And Sashimi is fantastic!

I love sushi and eat it at least 2x a month. I just unwrap and eat the seafood less the rice w/ a smidgen of Wasabi. I have not had any problems eating this ---just watch the soy sauce...the sodium can make you retain water the next day.

Sashimi is great if you like sushi. It's just the raw fish without the rice ball. If you stick to cooked food though, then unwrapping the rice works.
