Default Introducing Myself to the Triple Digits Club

I'm Amy a 30 yr. old SAHM to Madison 3 and Austin 16 months. We live in North Carolina in the Triad Area. I've been married to my hubby Joe for 8 years. We both started Atkins 1/05/04 and I've lost over 20 pounds and he's lost over 30. We are both really happy with our success so far. We just joined the YMCA a few weeks ago and I go 5x a week. They have a children's play group there that my kids love to go to which helps Mama out a bunch. I've got over 100 pounds to lose so I'm in it for the long haul. I feel so much better physically and mentally since starting Atkins. Looking forward to meeting everyone. You all really inspire us newbies !

~ Amy

Wow, sounds like you've got a running start, especially since you're doing it as a couple. If you're able to keep up that level of workout, you'll be really successful.
Welcome to the losers club!

Amy,
Congrats on your weight loss, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you on the forum. I think it is excellent that you and your hubby are on the plan together. Way to make it work!

Hi Amy and Welcome to the TDC. I sure wish I had someone to do low carbing with at home. It might make things easier some days! I am also a SAHM with a 3 yr old, although I'm quite abit older than you are. I enjoy popping into this forum during the day! Gives me abit of a break! WTG on the weight loss so far! You're well on your way. Its great that you can go to a gym that has childcare. I wish there was one by me that did! I have to rely on others to look after her while I go, so I don't get there as often as I'd like to!
