Default Sore Gums??!!!

Did anyone else experience this? In Induction, first few weeks, i immediately got sore gums. Was this normal? From lack of carbs? Am in OWL now and it's mostly gone away. ONe GREAT thing that occured, was, a few years ago i had laser surgery on my eyes, and my vision was often a little blurry, probably had 20/50 vision, once i was in induction and now my vision sharpened to seems like 20/10, seemed like i have super vision now. Wow!
i keep losing the lbs, still can hardly believe this is all true. They keep coming off, another 2 lbs gone the last 2 weeks. thanks.

Olehickok,

I had the exact same problem and it was suggested to me to increase my vitamin C. Now I take 1500 mg of vitamin C a day and it is much better. You can take even more than that but that seems to do the trick for me.

Just to show you how good this board is, I called my dentist first and he had no idea what to do. I posted a message and a couple hours later, I had an answer.

Default meat?

Hi there --

This is a cast in the dark, but --

Are you eating more meat than you have in a while? Maybe if you had not been eating much meat when you lived in the low fat world the uptake of meat consumption has caused you to chew more, hurting your gums.

If this is the case your gums should feel better soon, as any muscles feel better after working out!

Yup, Vitamin C and meat should do the trick. I'm not so good about this stuff, so I can't tell you anymore advice...

Wow, congrats on losing the lbs! You are doing great! Keep it up! Also, congrats on your sight!

Keep on going
