Default I had shrimp scampi last night, w/o Pasta!

I took my daughter and her friend (ages 9 and 10) for pizza after the 4th grade football game y'day. They shared a pizza pie and I ordered the shrimp scampi w/o the pasta, and asked for steamed veggies, the server told me they don't have steamed veggies, so I got a salad instead, I was very happy!
Plus the scampi had red peppers, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes in it!

I also was able to eat the last slice of pizza, slid the cheese off and ate that w/o the crust.

Thanks marchbaby,
Every time one of us goes into an eating establishment and asks for food made in a low carb way we let them know about "market demand". Hopefully as a result one day we can go anywhere for good healty low carb meals.
P.S. Great job, excellent self control!!

Sounds like you had a fun time with your family. I love eating out on this WOL. We went to Ryans steakhouse. Its a buffet full of every carb and protien you can ever want. Man I chowed down but stayed totally on plan.
I had Steak, Rotis chicken, baked salmon, and ribs. I told the manager I was on a low carb diet and he got me a half a rack of ribs with no sauce right out of the oven before they grilled them. He also got me a serving of steamed cabbage before they put all the junk on it. He says they do this stuff for people all the time.
I ate way to much food and I enjoyed every minute of it and the fact that I was with a big group of familly to socialize with!!!
