I know that on the Russell Stover's chocolates we can subtract the fake sugars to get to the net carbs but do we also subtract the polydextrose?....Thanks in advance....

Things that end with "ose" usually mean sugar, so although I'm not 100 percent sure I wouldn't deduct to be on the safe side.

That said, I usually eat one of the small bags of these every week and they don't seem to cause any problems for me. I'm still losing about an inch a month off my waist - I haven't been on the scale since January.

As far as sugar free candy goes, I really don't like the new Hershey brand - they have something called lactitol instead of malitol. This stuff really gives me gastrointestinal troubles of the embarrassing kind.
