I just made a japanese sushi dinner. Wow, it was so good, and I'm sooo stuffed!
I made california or (Nori) rolls, with cucumber, avacado, shrimp, crab, ahi tuna, and sockeye salmon. I didn't miss the rice one bit. I made our teenagers regular ones with sticky rice and they were trying to comandeer ours...
I also made soup with sausage, miso, chicken broth, wakame seaweed, daikon radish, and grated zucinni.
Both recipes I adapted from the Karen's recipes.
For the sushi rolls I did them with the veges, then crab or shimp, and laid the tuna or salmon on top. I served them with picked ginger (sugar free, in aspartame) wasabi, and soy sauce.
For any of you sushi lovers out there, try it, it's easy, and so good!
