Thumbs up Cafe Athens Greek Feta Dressing

Maybe you are like me and getting tired of Blue Cheese Dressing. If so, I got a find for you!

My friend Amy called me last week and she said she bought this zero carb dressing and it was great. It is Cafe Athens and you can find it in the refridgerator section (over by Marie's and Naturally Fresh.)

Here are the Ingredients:
Water, Soybean Oil, Olive Oil, Feta Cheese, Lime juice, spices, dried eggs, nonfat milk and vinegar. NO SUGAR ADDED!

The Nutritional stats:
Seving size 1 Tbsp.
Calories 60
Fat Calories 55
Total Fat 6g
Sat fat 1.5g
Cholest. 7mg
Sodium 100mg
Total carb 0
Fiber 0
Sugar 0
Protien 3g

I bought this at Publix in FL. It is manufactured by Marjon Specialty Foods, Inc. There is also a Cafe Geneva which is a mustard based dressing. Unfortunately I don't have this one at home to give you the info.

Now here is the funny thing. About 15 years ago I use to go to this restaurant that always severed the Cafe Geneva dressing. I loved it. Then I went on so many low fat high carb diets and stopped using and buying the products. Amy and I use to go to the same restaurant from time to time and always felt like we were being bad when we had the dressing. Now, neither one of us needs to feel guilty.

I am not sure if you can find this dressing outside of FL (since it is made in Plant City.) I went to Marjon's website and it list grocery stores and they have an online order system but since the salad dressing needs to be refrigerated, I am not sure if they can ship it.

I am in no way associated with the product. I work for the phone company! I know this kind of sounds like an infomercial, but I was not eating as much salad as I use to. I do not like ranch dressing but I do prefer a creamy style dressing so I thought my options had limits.

If you decide to try, I hope you like it. It has a nice flavor and I really enjoy it. Next week I am going to buy the Cafe Geneva which is a little spicier.
