how do i delete old threads of mine that are not needed anymore? or do they automatically get deleted? i have looked round this site and can not find out how to delete or if i am able to? thanks

No, ordinary members cannot delete. Unless a moderator happens to come along (like me ) you are best to click on "report this post" or ask in the Comments Box and technical Questions forum.

But I'm here at your service. What do you want removed and why?

i dont need the,, i need a chocolate substitute, how many carbs in cocoa? that can be deleted and also australia, eggs and porky bits one can go......... i thought i could delete them as it would provide more room for others and i think the forum is so great and I guess I am a clean freak and like things tidy,,lol,, so i was trying to tidy. you are welcome to delete those threads and also i guess this one also,,anyway up to you,, happy for you to reply in my journal,, thank you Rosebud.

That's sweet of you, but the forum can cope.

The thing is, many other people have the same questions, and as long as the threads are here, they can find them. We have many, many "guests" here who just come for LC information.

Even if the thread is pages back, people can search, say, for cocoa, and behold! - there's the answer!
