Angry I' confused

Im confused. Thought that parsnip was low but have just looked up some items lc values all for 100g
carrott 4.5
parsnip 10
Butternut pumpkin 8
PEAS 6

So I really cant have parsnip or pumpkin but I could have a carrot ???

Hiya Bron,

Depends which plan you are doing. If you are doing Atkins induction, carrots, peas and parsnips are not on the allowed list. Carrots have a high glycaemic index, which is why they are not allowed. Pumpkin has 6 effective carbs per 100g according to the carb counter here. So even that would need to be eaten with care.

Which plan are you actually on? It's a good idea when you are starting to choose one particular plan and stick to it for a while before combining or modifying plans.

I will re read Aitkins this weekend as I am a bit confused between that and PP.
