You're welcome Dani.

That's why I do it. I can never remember where a great post is and hate to lose them. It's also linked to Hot Links in the Newbies Forum.

Any new and exciting dairy-free discoveries?

Any chance this one could be made sticky? It's awfully useful (and thanks as ever, Karen).

Hmm. I am thinking there should be a read only FAQ Forum with all this kind of stuff in it.

I'll see what I can do!

I agree. Great list on a FAQ. Great links about sugar alcohols would be a good part of this sticky too.

Go Karen!

These links are great, as the sugar substitute issue is causing me the biggest problem! I am still trying to bake a really good sugar free cheesecake. I use Splenda, but I find it has an aftertaste and is bitter. I like Sugar twin in my tea, but now I have to worry about the health issues. Does anyone know anything about 'Agave Nectar' and "Ki-Sweet" from kiwi??? Has there been a poll here about everyone favorite sugar subsitute, pros and cons or the like? Is there a book? Thanks again for the links, Karen! I have alot of reading to do!

It's a "perma-sticky" in Low Carb Tips at the top of the page. Been here for years!

Agave is low on the glycemic index, but it's fructose! Even though I'm not a fan of Dr. Mercola, the perils of fructose are explained in this article. Ki-sweet is also fructose, but it is used in smaller quantities.

Have you considered stevia as a natural sweetener? No frucose, no chemicals, no nuttin!

Yes, I know about the perma-sticky, but that doesn't have as much discussion as a bunch of links. People still ask questions about experiences with sugar alcohols every day!
