It'll change eventually....
Hey! Don't fret, it will change, or at least it has for me. My mom and my bro both forget to eat quite often. Me on the other hand have always had to force myself to stop eating. Always planning my next meal as I was eating my current one. (thankfullly, my dad was the same as me or I would have felt like an outcast in my own home! )
However, thankfully, after eight weeks on Atkins, I have found that while I do look forward to some meals, eating others has become a chore. It is JUST food, which I have never really understood before. While it might be a very tasty meal, I am eating to fuel my body, not purely as a source of pleasure. For example, sometimes I am just not hungry and don't want to eat before a workout, but I KNOW that I have to have at least 15 grams of protein in me or I will be too fatigued to finish. It is more (or less) than food at this point, it is fuel. Give it some time, and I think you will find that while eating this way is certainly pleasurable with steak, butter, etc. it is also very effective in changing your relationship with food! Completely for the better!
Does that make any sense??? Can someone help me explain it better if it is not clear??? (crystal clear to me of course!!!! )
