Default SUBWAY's LC more popular than anticipated

I went into the subways in freehold, nj today looking fwd to my now daily wrap, when i was greeted with a big sign on the counter stating:

"due to the unexpected popularity of the low carb wraps, we are out of stock - we apoligize for the inconvenience"

I asked the clerk and he told me they sold more wraps in the 1st week than they had predicted they would sell in the first month, so they under ordered.

Nice to know!

Now that's popular! I guess it's a true sign of the times. Hopefully more restaurant chains will follow Subway's lead.

I tried one on Friday and it was delicious. I also hope more restaurants jump on the low carb band wagon!

I had it last night and must say that it was better then I thought. Though it really didnt fill me up and I went over my 20 carb limit by 3 because of it...oh well. My appetite still hasnt simmered down...only on day 5 of this diet.

I can't believe how fast those wraps are selling. The majority of people ordering those wraps aren't ordering them because they are low-carb, but because they taste so good. Subway will be adding some new low-carb salads in March. I hope that they start adding other items too, but I have not heard.

I wish that they were not running out of them, but be prepared. The problem is going to come from the manufacturing side; they will start limiting the amount of wraps that each Subway can order because they did not forsee how fast they would sell.

Only the acceptable foods are allowed on induction http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html
Just start over. I had to when I started this woe, I ate some things on induction that weren't allowed because I didn't read the book. First I read up on it at www.atkins.com, then got the book $7.99.
Your appetite will simmer down but it will be awhile.
Good luck.
Cindy

Edit: I see you did read the book. Maybe just reread the induction part again. A salad wouldve been fine.
