Default Sandy are you my good luck charm? heheh

Hiya Sandy

Ya musta gave me some good luck saying this...

suze_c: pretty soon the #15 will be gone forever, can't wait for your post

I got a digital scale, and it says ERR if the weight is over 300#, as I already said. The curious thing about it tho, is if the weight is close to 300#, it will briefly flash it before it says ERR. Last time I seen a weight on there was some time ago, and it was 304#... then all I seen was ERR ERR ERR ERR.,.. kinda like DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER DANGER I put the scale up~ all it was doing was depressing me,I was already depressed due to my grama's death, & I knew I was doing emotional eating... there's reasons behind it all. This morning I thought, oh what the heck~ let's see it this thing still says ERR... so I got it out, bumped it to make it alive...waited for the 0... stepped on and lo and behold it flashed 301#!!! I kinda rubbed my eyes, thought that can't be right... went through it again... 301#!!! I was doing the happy dance! Now let's just hope it is gone forever now!~ All I know is that is some inspiration for me!~ On to week #2~

Wink

Hi. Thanks for asking. My second week in going great. I feel like I am getting the hang of the carb counting and the calorie thing. I have lost a total of 7lbs. and 1inch. from bust 2 1/2in. from waist and 1/2 from hips. Yes, all this help is fantastic. I have lots of energy and feel lighter on my feet. I am sure you will do fine this weekend. Are you able to cook at home? I find this helpful so I know exactly what is in my food. We did eat out last night and I ordered a chef salad with a sirloin steak. Yum, Yum. I love eating this way and my hunger is so under contol it is not hard to stay away from the things we can't have. Do you feel the same about the hunger thing? Well, have a great weekend. Relax, and enjoy.

Default 2nd week as well~

hi 1pepper and sandy~ it is my 2nd week as well~ weekends are when everyone is home all day~ so it is a little harder, but I am bound & determined to stick by this... hubby is gone during some of the day usually Mon.-Fri.,unless he switches a day with Sunday because the lady he works for wants to go to church... then Bren is gone Mon.Tues.,Thurs.Fri. to day services, so it is just the and me on those days... she keeps me busy!
Hope your 2nd week is continuing to be good for you~ I have decided to disable my scale, take the battery out, so I don't become a scale hopper again~ I will let my measurements and those subtle clues in my shape determine my success~ oh I will weigh myself from time to time... but I don't want it to become an everyday thing~ have a good one everybody~
