Question Shrinking inches and pounds

Hello all

Just a quick question about measurements. How often do you check them and also is it normal for you to lose inches faster than pounds.I have been on induction for 3 weeks and 12 lbs lighter and i have lost an amazing 2 inches off my hips and 3" from my chest. My goal is to be 150 lbs by my 30th birthday in September.I have about 38 more lbs to go do you think i can do it.I really have changed the way i look at food since i have changed my WOE and it's the best decision as well as a healthy one.
Thanks
Karlletha

Hi, yes it's normal to lose inches before the lbs drop. That's just another way of showing that this WOE works. When losing weight you also lose inches. I'm sure you can lose 38lbs by your birthday in September, just keep up the good work. Good Luck!

Hi Karlletha!

Congratulations on your
weight loss this far!!! Way
to go!

Yes, I find that I am losing
inches even when I am
not losing weight. I only
check inches once a month.
I can generally tell as my clothes
are getting loose. I hope that
you achieve your goal. However,
if you aren't totally there, you can
be sure that you are on the right
track.

Best wishes, and by the way
your babies are PRECIOUS!!!

Be blessed,
Tanya

I measure twice a month but nevery during TOM, retained water doesn't look good on the scale either, right?
Warmest congratulations - it's wonderful to get smaller!
Look here to see how my measurements changed in just 3 months.
As for your goal - it's very hard to tell. The sure thing is that you WILL reach it if you stick to the plan! On your borthday or maybe later, but you will!

Keep up the good work!

Alina

I lose inches faster than pounds especially now that I am working out. I dropped 1 pant size in one month and even they are loosening up and may be dropping another shortly.
