Hi can anyone help. I have been on low carbs for about a month, and apart from the first week, have not lost a single kg!! I'm doing everything right, although I'm starting to worry about whether my quantities of veggies is too much, although I do work out. Any suggestions? (My hubby is also in the same boat). (I have only 4kg till I get to my goal weight.

Thanks

Jackie

Post a typical day's menu and it will help people to see what may be going on.

You've partially answered your own question. Once you're within 20 lbs or so of your goal weight, it's a long, slow journey and you have to be much stricter than someone who still has a lot of weight to lose. *shrug* You might be at your body's comfortable set point, and going lower than that is an uphill battle.

If you want to do it, exercise becomes mandatory, and scale weight becomes meaningless: for example, when I'm on the ball and keeping myself toned, I weigh 135. When I'm off the exercise wagon, gain several inches, gain fat and lose some of that muscle tone, I still weigh 135, even though I'm noticably larger.

...so *do* measure yourself, if you haven't already.

...and do as Robert suggested; post a few day's worth of menus. Be honest - include absolutely everything. We'll see what's going on.

HTH!

Start your journal so you can post what you are doing --exercise--meals--meds--etc. Wish I only had 4 more pounds to go!! Congratulations. Alice
