Smile Just saying "HI"

First time trying this approach for support. I have a husband that likes to argue that I do not need to lose weight as he thinks I am fine just as I am. I have tried to get him to understand that I am not doing this for my looks I am doing it for my overall health...anyone else out there with this problem? I have been doing Atkins for about 3 weeks and have lost 10 pounds and gained back 4 (stress related). I need ideas to help me deal with stress wthout relying on food to get me through.

Welcome. This is one of the best places for support. Is your hubby overweight? If so, maybe he is insecure with the fact that your taking care of yourself and he's not used to it.

He just may love you the way you are. My husband tells me I am his mexican Marilyn Manroe. I sure didn't look like this when we met. 100 lbs later, viola here I am. At first he was insecure, playing around that I would leave him and start getting more attention. That is his own insecurities though. Now he wants to start on the LC WOL because I feel better today.

Hang in there and congrats on the weight loss.
