Smile What foods are you sick of?

I think when I went through induction I ate hundreds of canned white tuna. I still haven't had any since those days... six months later!

Lesson? When doing Induction... heck when doing OWL!... vary your food so you don't get sick of it... even the ones you love!

Smile Eggs

I think that the only thing that I am sick of is eggs. I never have much of an appetite in the mornings, so eating breakfast for me is hard to begin with. What I have been doing lately is either eating left over dinner, a low carb bar, or taking a few hard boiled eggs to work with me and eating one when my stomach starts to growl.

I bought half a free-range cow last fall. I am, I'll admit, growing tired of the roasts and lower-quality steaks, though I keep trying different recipes. Next year, I'll have more of that stuff turned into ground beef (they butcher it to order for me) cuz I don't grow as tired of the ground beef for some reason. Live and learn!

I'm going through a sick of bacon thing at the moment. At one time it was my all time fave.

I haven't had any for a couple of weeks now - I dare say I'll go back to it at some point though.

Default eggs are icky

I would have to say EGGS are the worst for me
I was never a really big fan of them....and now even the smell is getting to me
Some mornings I will eat the protien not the egg just the meat
It is the only part of this woe that I hate.

I'm sick to death of pork rinds. I had an I.V. to the potato chip bag before Adkins. It's been 5 weeks without chips and I'm sick to death of pork rinds. I buried my addition to chips, but I regret that they are buried alive because I can still hear them calling me. "Kim, Kim, Kim are you sure you don't need just one". Well, thanks to Adkins and all this fat I get to eat I don't have cravings. So I know it's all in my mind, because chips don't live with me anymore.

So, life goes on and I continue to enjoy my weight loss. I think of all the benefits of proper nutrition and exercising. No more swollen anything, no more high blood pressure, and most important smaller clothes.

There's a war against carbs at my house, and I'm winning.

Have a good day!
