1 tablespoons ThickenThin not/Cereal thickener~Buy Now (15ml)
1 tablespoons rolled oats, preferably quick oats
1/2 cup warm water
maple flavoring or cinnamon or molasses - to taste
Whisk together the dry ingredients.
Spray or grease sides of bowl and add a half cup (120ml) warm water.
Stir or whisk dry ingredients into water. Microwave one minute.
Whisk to break up lumps. Microwave 30-60 seconds more. Stir in enough of the flavoring of your choice to darken it to oatmeal color.
Serve with salt, sweetener, butter and/or cream to taste.
