It more then likely from your water intake plus if it is still cold in your area. It will go away just lather up with Lotion

Are you taking an omega-3 supplement? I find that it helps.

You know, I agree with DianaO that it's the water intake. It's so weird though. I was always under the impression that water was supposed to be GOOD for your skin, not dry it out. I wonder how much the flouride and other stuff in tap water effects our skin when we drink alot of it. I can't afford to buy bottled all the time and I can never keep those brita filter things full enough to have cold water on hand so I gave up on them years ago. Am I the only one who thinks it's counterintuitive that water would dry out skin? I always have had to use lotion (because I was never a water drinker) but now I have to use it way more and even my hands look like dishpan hands when I drink the water. And, YES I take the essential oils, except when I know I'll have to eat tunafish cuz they seem to amplify the fishy taste in my mouth and it grosses me out. Annie

That's so weird, that extra water would dry me out... maybe the water breaks down or dilutes the oil in my skin? But I'm also eating more oily foods! Oh, well. It seems to be easing up some-- maybe it just needed to have a chance to adjust.

Plus, I slathered on baby oil after my bath yesterday, which helps a lot!
