For those of you that have taken it, did you have to do the collection on a certain cycle day? The insert with the test says to take it between cycle day 21 - 23. (I figured that was assuming a cycle day 14 ovulation). So, I emailed the test people, and they said it wasn't cycle dependent, and that anytime was fine, just the time of day mattered. Ok, who's right? The insert or the test people?

My test says to collect on different days depending on 8 different cyclical conditions for women. I read somewhere that the cortisol test didn't depend on the cycle, so my guess is that the lab lumps everything together to avoid further confusion with the other cycle-dependent hormone tests.

If the lab says it's OK to collect anytime, then go by whichever answer makes you feel most comfortable.
