Default Heinz One Carb Ketchup

I thought others might be interested in this response I received today from Heinz. I had asked when we might expect to see their low carb ketchup on the shelves in my area (central NC).

Dear Kay,

Thank you for visiting our web site and for your interest in Heinz
One-Carb Ketchup.

We have had an overwhelmingly positive reaction from consumers like you
since our CEO shared the news about our newly developed product. Heinz
One-Carb Ketchup is currently being shipped from our warehouses to your
local supermarkets. You should be seeing it on all supermarket and
Wal-Mart store shelves (nationally) by the end of February or mid-March.

Thanks again for contacting us. We appreciate your interest.

Thanks for sharing this info. I was wondering when we would get it in texas. It seems walmart is the place I go to now to get all the stuff I use regularly.

Thanks for checking with them Kay. I had been looking in all of my stores with no luck after my local store stopped having the Estes ketchup that is sugar free. I don't really like the Atkins ketchup. Thanks again for your work and I will check my Wal-Mart the end of the month.

Ohh, yeah! I put Heinz Ketchup on almost everything before this diet. The Atkins ketchup is horrible, so I can't wait until my area gets it

Stop and Shop in Peterborough, NH has it. It tastes very good, but a little more watery than regular Heinz. I also purchased Lawry's Carb Options steak sauce, but did not care for it. Market Basket in Rindge, NH is also carrying Lawry's Carb Options Teriyaki Marinade and it is very good.

I have 3 bottles all different brands sitting in my fridge untouched. They ALL failed the taste test. They are too sweet, too shiny, too I dunno UN ketchup like YUKKKKKers! PLEASE tell me that 1 carb Heinz rocks?????? (and that we Canucks can get it)

Last I heard, Heinz said that they weren't planning on introducing it in Canada, but with the preliferation of other low carb products introduced here lately, maybe they will change their mind!!!! I was never a biiiig ketchup eater, but when I did endulge, it had to be Heinz.

yes, I don't eat fries anymore so there is no reason for me to eat ketchup except on my eggs! I really missed it on my eggs. I am off to write a letter to Heinz!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the LC ketchup is now in Walmarts in VA Beach!! The bottle is small, but is reasonably priced. I put ketchup on every kind of meat that I eat, so this is a really good thing IMO!!!!
